JUNE & JULY - Therapy Dog 2: Advanced Volunteering Skills
The "Therapy Dog 2" class runs for four Tuesdays from 7-8 pm at the Cobourg Community Centre. On the fifth Tuesday there will be a "make-up" for those who missed a regular class. This class is designed for handler-dog teams approaching a therapy dog evaluation, or already volunteering. Participants will be invited to communicate to Elizabeth their specific challenges for coverage during the class.

AUGUST & SEPTEMBER - Therapy Dog 1: Canine Good Neighbour Preparation
The "Therapy Dog 1" class runs for six Tuesdays from 7-8 pm at the Cobourg Community Centre. On the seventh Tuesday there will be a "make-up" for those who missed a regular class. This class is designed for handler-dog teams in the earlier stages of training. It will help prepare you to take the 12-step Canine Good Neighbour Test. Whether you plan to take this test or not, training for it includes the basic skills needed to pass a Therapy Dog Test.
